Princess Bluebird

When I picked Savannah up from preschool today:

Me: How was your day?
Sav: Great, we learned about Indians, and we got to make our own Indian name.
Me: Really? So what did you name yourself?
Sav: Princess Bluebird!
Me: Oh, cute! Did you choose that because your eyes are blue?
Sav: (in a thinking voice) Oh . . . yes!

So my question is, what would your Indian name be? I'm still thinking on it . . .

Princess FavoriteAunt!
Princess Sawyer
Princess Sleepyhead
Princess StrangeMemory

So many options. As long as it says princess on the front-end who cares!

Would that we could all see how beautiful we are and wear the crown of Princess nobly and humbly.

I tried to think of a creative indian name, but all I kept thinking was, "I would like my name to have chief in it." "Chief anything would sound good." etc. Am I a Linton or what?
Actually, I don't think I'd really want to be a chief, I just think it sounds cool. :)

Emily made up her own Indian name at school yesterday as well. She had to choose from things they listed on the board that have to do with the earth or animals. She was Little Mouse. We named Sam Chief Meetball on the way home. He LOVES to say that word lately.

Mamabear - While your answer is profound I am curious what you would call yourself?

As a Linton I must admit that I agree with my sister. "Chief anything sounds good"

Chief "Meanest Dad Ever" (My kids choice)
Chief Blue Heron (My CB handle)
Chief Job Changer (My wife's choice due to circumstances)

I know -- I know -- I could be Princess Not a Chief -- One family can only have so many chiefs.......:):):)

How about Princess Sunflower or Princess Snowflake? Those have a nice ring to them. Actually I have a new one. I want to be Princess Sunflake. I want to be as bright as a sunflower and as lacy and beautiful as a snow flake so I'm going to be a Sunflake. Or maybe it would sound better to be a Snowflower -- hmmm

I have to agree with Mamabear, that there can only be so many chiefs. I guess I would go with "Indian".
