We are so happy for Mike and Michelle. Mike is the last sibling of Ashkii's to marry . . . he took his time and found the perfect girl for him. They are a great couple and will go far. We were happy to be there to celebrate on their special day. It was beautiful!
These are pics of the kids sliding down the marble banister on the temple grounds . . . who instigated it? Savannah. Of course!
More pics on the temple grounds . . .
Savannah met and became joined at the hip with Ashkii's cousin's daughter, Madison. They had a lot of fun together . . .
At the luncheon, the kids sang a song about the sun that Mike taught them while at the family reunion at the cabin last summer - they were giggling through it but did a great job nonetheless! Very silly . . .
True to Mike's character, we (the luncheon guests) played an interactive trivia game at the luncheon, answering questions about Mike and Michelle on our own personal keypads. It was pretty cool - the kids especially loved it. Also at the luncheon, Mike's siblings presented Michelle with a survival kit to be married to Mike. For example, they gave her a furnace filter to help filter through all of Mike's ideas (he has a lot), and they gave them stick horses, since that will be the closest Michelle gets to horseback riding with Mike (allergies).
After the luncheon, we had fun taking pics outside . . . .
I missed getting a shot of Daija (Ashkii's sis) with her hubby and son, probably because I was distracted chasing Rachel who found the fountain . . .
While everyone headed back to decorate the newlywed's car or pack things into vehicles, Rachel and I lagged behind and I had fun taking pics of her. . .
Later that night, we got to have dinner with most of my family, minus Camille:(. It was fun hanging with my siblings who are (amazingly) grown-ups:)
