NYC

Last September we had the opportunity to meet part of Ashkii's family in New York.  We had a great time and got to experience lots of new things!  Savannah and I loved Mary Poppins and we still talk about how amazing the 'Step in Time' scene was. The girl loves theatre and just kept looking at me and whispering, "This is so incredible!" Ashkii and Trevor's favorite experience was attending the US Open.  It was an amazing event!  And Rachel's favorite thing was the taxi cab! She thought that was super fun! The girls also loved the American Girl Store. It was also our first time in Central Park, and of course we had to take the kids to FAO Schwartz - we love the piano from BIG! Trevor and I had just read From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, so we had fun walking to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We didn't get a chance to go in - but I think Trev took 18 pictures of the sign out front!
