We bought a big tent this year and some other gear, thinking that we'd get out camping a few times, well we went once! We had great intentions of going more, but life happens and we will have to wait til Spring now, because as much as Ashkii would like me to be, I am NOT a winter camper:) I am not much of a camper period, as I grew up camping in a spoiled, motorhome way! The best part of camping is dutch oven food and s'mores! The kids did great - even with the rain the first night, they slept right through the night. We went near VA Beach where we used to live and met some friends for Memorial Weekend. We went to a strawberry festival and parade. It was also my birthday and I really just wanted to go to the beach. I got my wish and it was a beautiful day relaxing in the breeze. Oh, how I love the ocean waves!
