I am in such a different phase of life than I have been with my other children's births. I am nervous for all the changes and super excited at the same time. It is fun having two kids who are literally jumping up and down with excitement for their new sibling's arrival. Tonight, they helped me "pack" for the hospital. They put a framed picture of the two of them in my bag, and Savannah said, "You can put this in whatever space you want, honey." I layed my head on her shoulder and she started to play with my hair, saying, "I know you are nervous for your surgery, mommy, but after it is all over you will have a new child and it will be just wonderful!" I really wonder sometimes how old she REALLY is.
The baby will be sleeping in Savvy's room, and we put the crib in there a few days ago. So she has been role playing all kinds of situations. She likes to pretend that we are asleep and don't hear the baby on the monitor, so she then "gets up" to come and get me. I go in to "get" the baby and she says, "Okay, mommy, I'm going back to bed now."
My cute grandma T called me last week and said, "So . . . are you huge?!" I laughed and said "Of course!" I really just feel like I am out of room for this child. But I'm feeling really good, considering. And at least I will have cute feet at the hospital. When I turned 30 about six weeks ago (yikes!), I told my hubby I just wanted some cute new slippers to wear in the hospital. I think he did really well:

He even surprised me by dropping me off for a pedicure, which I loved. Now when my feet are swollen from a hot day, I can put them up and at least have cute toes:) Thanks, babe.
So, here is your chance everyone, to place your bets on the gender of this baby. Oh, and in case you are wondering, I really don't know what it is. I go back and forth and don't have any strong feelings either way. I am also open to advice on transitioning to three kids!!!

Hey!
I have started to be addicted to pedicures! You need them after 3 kids. 3 hasn't been so bad. Brielle is truly straight from heaven. I think the Lord knows you need an angel to deal with the other 2. You will be fine. (I can say that since they are all asleep right now)
Good luck! We'll keep checking to see when the little one arrives.
You are SO ready for this... you will do great, and this baby will have the best parents and siblings anyone could ask for! Love the slippers, and the pedicures are a MUST!! Good job Richard! I can't believe you've made it the whole way without finding out the gender... I'm going to guess a girl. I have no scientific reason or theory, that's just what I think! Good luck, and I can't wait to see him/her!
I think it's a girl as well! Your toes look great! Good luck! I loved the transition from 2 to 3, it isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be.
I think you will be just fine, three is fun. Wish we could come see the baby brand spankin new.
I think it's another girl. I can't wait to find out. How fun for your family a baby is such a great thing to bring everyone closer together.
We love you guys
Camie
i am so excited for you guys!!! i'll be thinking of you all! also, savannah seems like such a little sage! so cute!
Brookie,
My guess is a girl! Three was a big transition for me, but the advice I would give you would just be to plan ahead for outtings and give yourself plenty of time to get ready to leave the house. When I start to rush things I get stressed. I can tell you are a great mom, so I'm sure you will adjust quickly! Love you, and good luck with the delivery! -Melody
Holy cow seester! You are having another kid in like a week! It so does not feel real. I wish I could be there, but I will send all my love with mama!
Ashki and Brooke-
Congratulations soon to be in your new family transition! What an exciting time in you and your families lives! I wish all the best, I know what you mean about c-sections, though mine were always emergency one's either way the whole anticipation and c-section is weird and freaky:)
If I were to place bets I would say girl, but either way who cares. A baby is a baby and most of us who are SO maternal want just that A baby!!
Take care and I cannot wait to see on your blog what the cute one is. Anyways, you CANNOT go wrong with the darn cute kids you have.
Makes you wonder how close to the vale this little one's are.
Take care!
Hi Brookie!
Good luck with everything! 3 was a big change for me but mine were really close together and you will have 2 very big helpers to assist you with the new baby. You will do awesome.
I know everyone thinks its a girl but, it's a BOY!
My bet is a girl...and for the advice ....just remember that it DOES get easier. Give it time.
I think it's a baby.
Cute PJ's by the way.
Hi Guys
Wow I can't believe it's July and time for the baby to come! I have felt like it's a boy all along, but no matter what, you will have plenty of good little helpers.
See you soon, Love, G.G.
No need to worry you are blessed with another child everything will fall right into place. You are a loving family and that is all you need for each other. I will be thinking about you and can't wait to hear about the birth of the newest Linton Take care we love you The Longs
My how time flies when it's SOMEONE ELSE who's pregnant!!! :)
My guess is a girl, but I don't know why. Are you telling anybody your two name choices? Hubby would like to suggest Ferdinand - it's his favorite, ha ha!
We'll be thinking of you as the date draws near!
